Developing …

We find our heart at the center of our body.  Other then some lofty ideas and beliefs that most of us like to think is the way it is, we are really at a loss to know what it is that keeps this heart beating.  Where did that beginning come from when we were gestating in the womb?  Where does it go when the body dies?  The mystery is right in front of us, in fact, right in us as  this heart beats in spite of our mind that likes to claim control.  “Be still. Cultivate silence at the center. Wait and watch. Let life emerge.”   All of these admonitions are geared toward the desire for a connection with what is trying to be born… just as the heart is inexorably beating. Let’s look  at a life, a family, a community, an organization.  All of life and all that is created is a  living system.  If honored in this way, the nature and rhythm of the pulse of the heart will find it’s replication as it moves into the wider manifestation of the body.   Why?  In individual, couples and organizational work, we speak about creating a container that allows vibration, creation, and manifestation to occur.  In this way of viewing the life system, we could say that as a living organism, the movement of what comes next is coming to us through the container that is ‘ still’.  ‘Still’ so that we can listen and hear. What solutions are coming forth?  What conversations want to happen? What magic is waiting to be born?  Through the conversation, an action appears. Courage is needed to ask the questions that occur to us or  speak the inspiration that we hear and then to let go into the larger movement. Life emerges…
